Job summary

Greenfields Specialist School for Communication invites applications from primary-trained teachers with a strong pedagogy and a passion for development in a specialist provision setting.

You will lead on a subject/area, work with a multidisciplinary team, and create engaging, life-filled learning experiences for our pupils who have diverse needs. A bespoke induction and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong primary pedagogy is essential for teaching and learning in our special school setting.
• Experience in a specialist provision is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to lead on a subject/area within the school.
• Willingness to develop professionally and learn continually.

Responsibilities

• Lead on a subject/area within the school.
• Develop and contribute to the RIDE curriculum.
• Collaborate with physios, occupational therapists and Teaching Health Assistants.
• Deliver engaging, life-enabled learning experiences across a specialist setting.
• Support and adapt learning to a wide range of needs and abilities.
