Job summary

Qualifications

• QTS is required and recognised by the UK education system.
• Experience in a special school (primary or early years) is essential.
• Experience supporting pupils with Down's syndrome and other complex needs.
• Strong personal care delivery and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a topic-based primary-style curriculum within a special school setting.
• Create an inclusive learning environment tailored to pupils with autism and other needs.
• Maintain high behaviour standards and implement effective management strategies.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and families to support development.
