Zusammenfassung

Argus Fire, part of the Mitie Group, designs, installs and maintains fire protection systems across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Design Engineer to lead the production and coordination of special risks projects, with strong CAD and Revit drafting skills.

You will produce hydraulic calculations using Canute FHC, mentor junior designers, and ensure designs meet LPC Sprinkler Rules and NFPA/FM standards. Minimum 5 years' experience required; 35-hour week.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of LPC Sprinkler Rules is essential.
• Minimum of LCPB Basic Design Qualification.
• LPCB Intermediate and FHC Design Qualifications would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of FM and NFPA standards would be advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Production and design responsibility of special risks projects' drawings and coordination models.
• Production of hydraulic calculations.
• Onsite surveying, where necessary.
• Attend coordination meetings within the wider clients' task team.
• Carry out checks to ensure designs are compliant to the relevant standards and project specifications.
• Mentor junior members of the design department.
• Minimum of 5 Years experience in the design of special risks projects.
• Must be experienced in producing technical drawings in AutoCAD and Revit sheets.
• Experience in the production of the hydraulic calculations using the Canute FHC design software.
