Job summary

Mitie Group plc. HQ in Stourbridge, UK, invites an experienced engineer to join our fire protection design team. You will produce high-quality drawings for special risks projects and coordinate with clients and sub-contractors, ensuring standards and timescales are met.

The role requires at least 5 years in special risks design, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and experience in hydraulic calculations using Canute FHC. LPCB/FM/NFPA knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years designing special risks projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for drawings.
• Experience with hydraulic calculations using Canute FHC.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings and coordination models for special risks projects.
• Produce hydraulic calculations.
• Onsite surveying where needed.
• Attend coordination meetings with the client team.
• Check designs for standards compliance.
• Mentor junior designers.
