Job summary

Sonning CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs, including 1:1 work with ASD/ ADHD, and to deliver a personalised timetable with English and Maths. The role includes sensory and therapeutic activities, emotional regulation support, and helping with breaktimes and movement activities.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a clear passion for working with children.
• Experience of planning effective sessions to support learning.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team while supporting pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional needs, including 1:1 support for ASD/ADHD/MLD/SEMH.
• Deliver a personalised timetable focusing on English and Maths.
• Lead sensory/therapeutic activities and support emotional regulation.
• Assist with breaktimes and physical activities where needed.
