Aspire People Limited are recruiting healthcare teaching assistants to support a special needs school in Spalding. The role is ideal for candidates with care sector experience who wish to apply their skills in education and support KS1 and KS2 pupils.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30, with a rolling contract and the option to go permanent. Pay is up to £107 per day, offering a strong pathway from healthcare into education.

Qualifications

• Experience in the care sector or healthcare setting.
• Interest in applying care skills within an educational context.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Working one-to-one with students.
• Collaborating with a number of teaching assistants and the class teacher.
• Supporting social and cognitive development in pupils.
• Adhering to safeguarding and child protection checks.
• Assisting with day-to-day classroom activities and routines.
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.
