Job summary

Haughton School in Telford is seeking Teaching Assistants Level 2 & 3 to work 32.5 hours per week on a permanent, term-time basis with an additional 5 professional development days. The roles involve supporting learners with moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs at the Haughton main site and specialist hubs.

Salary scales are £13.69 per hour (Level 2) and £13.90 per hour (Level 3). Start date ASAP subject to safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, supervision and engagement of students with complex needs.
• Contribute to implementing specialist approaches for children with communication difficulties and autism.
• Maintain reliability, punctuality and resilience in a dynamic school environment.
