Job summary

Grand Union Village School is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant (TA1) at its Northolt site. The role is term-time only with 5 training days and 36 hours per week, supporting pupils aged 4–11 with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, including high levels of personal care.

Two posts are available (full-time and part-time). Training will be provided, and progression pathways into specialist TA roles are offered within the Eden Academy Trust.

Qualifications

• Dedicated to working with children and young people with a range of complex learning disabilities, including those who are pre-verbal and require high levels of support with their regulations.
• Full training will be provided as part of induction.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with complex learning disabilities.
• Provide high levels of personal care and daily support.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
