Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
• Ability to move and handle pupils safely with training.
• Capability to follow Behaviour Management Plans and Strategies.
• Support across swimming, PE and other activities.
• Attend staff meetings and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in the classroom and other learning environments.
• Assist pupils to participate in the full curriculum.
• Provide daily personal care and basic therapy support.
• Move and handle pupils as trained.
• Help supervise breaks and lunch times.
• Assist with setting up and organising classroom resources.
• Record pupils' progress on charts.
• Work within designated hours and school policies.
