Job summary

Bader Academy in Doncaster is seeking Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs. The roles cover a range from primary to Year 11, with potential post-16 provision in the future.

Experience in arts, technology, IT, PE or mental health is valued, and candidates should be ready to employ innovative approaches. The position is full-time, term-time only, 37 hours per week, with pro rata salaries for the school-based scale.

Qualifications

• Experience with students with special educational needs.
• Ability to contribute to learning across primary to Year 11, with potential post-16 provision.
• Background in Arts, Technology, IT, PE or mental health is a plus.
• Innovative approaches to support and engage learners.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development in classroom and social times.
• Work with pupils across the primary range up to Year 11 (and post-16 in future provision).
• Assist pupils in personal and social development during breaks and lunchtimes.
• Support pupils in alternate provision or with a specific pupil as required.
