Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a well-resourced special school in Bridgwater. You will support pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or mental health challenges, providing 1:1 and small-group assistance throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will have prior experience as a Teaching Assistant and a compassionate approach, contributing to a supportive team and positive learning environment in a busy school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and mental health needs.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEND and mental health needs.
• Deliver small-group intervention and tasks under supervision.
• Assist class teachers with pastoral care and behavior management.
