Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd, in partnership with Wave Multi Academy Trust, is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4–19 with diverse needs in a Devon/Cornwall setting.

The role emphasises teamwork, patience, and resilience, with safeguarding at the core. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check is required, and the post offers opportunities for training and development within a supportive Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS check is required.
• Passion for working with young people with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balanced and broad curriculum that promotes development and learning.
• Offer access to the National Curriculum with opportunities for external accreditation.
• Support pupils to develop positive attitudes, emotional well-being and self-esteem.
• Collaborate with families, schools and other agencies to support pupils.
