GSL Education in Leicester City is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work across primary and secondary settings. The role offers a pay scale of £93-£100 per day, with an ASAP start and both full-time and supply options.

The position operates Monday to Friday during term time, with potential for permanent appointment for the right candidate. The school serves pupils with SEN needs including Physical Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, SEMH and Looked After Children's requirements, and emphasises

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SEN requirements: Physical Disabilities, Personal Care, Learning Difficulties, SEMH, Autism, PDA, ADHD, Looked After Children.
• Experience in an Education or Support Role.
• Understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Dedicated SEND TA able to support long or short term roles.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide outstanding support to pupils in both primary and secondary settings.
• Assist with differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Support behaviour management and safe conduct in class.
• Be respectful of the school's ethos and work with parents as needed.

• Has knowledge and understanding of the following SEN Requirements: Physical Disabilities, Personal Care, Learning Difficulties, SEMH, Autism, PDA, ADHD and Looked After Children.
• Have experience of working in an Education or Support Role
• Have an Understanding of the National Curriculum
• Be a dedicated SEND TA who can provide outstanding support either in a long or short term role
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies and classroom management skills.
• Be dedicated to providing an inclusive education for all students and being responsible for student development and academic performance.
• Be supportive and respectful of the school's ethos.
