Contract: Full time, whole academic year
Pay: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA / LSA) to join a supportive primary school in Hammersmith from January 2026. This full‑time position involves providing targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

The role offers the chance to work within a school that values inclusion and the development of every child, alongside experienced teaching staff and a strong SEN team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including learning, social, emotional, or behavioural needs
  • Assist teachers and the SENCo in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs)
  • Support pupils with engagement, focus, and independence during lessons and activities
  • Help adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
  • Monitor and report on pupils’ progress, contributing to planning and review meetings
  • Encourage positive relationships, confidence, and social development
