Special Needs Teacher – Key Stage 3 & 4 – September 2025
Are you a passionate and experienced Special Needs Teacher (SEND) looking for a rewarding new role? Do you want to join a supportive and specialist school environment where you can make a real difference to the lives of young people with autism and associated learning needs? This warm and welcomingspecial school in South Birmingham is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This permanent position involves teaching students in Key Stage 3 and 4 with autism, communication difficulties, and a range of learning needs. You will be supported by experienced teaching assistants and a strong leadership team committed to staff development and pupil progress. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing, well-resourced setting where relationships and tailored learning are at the heart of everything.
Job Role:
  • Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons for students with autism and complex needs
  • Teaching a small class of Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils, with support from skilled teaching assistants
  • Working closely with the wider school team to implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom that supports communication, independence, and social development
  • Contributing to the wider school community and whole-child approach to education
