Job summary

Hazel Cottage School in Fazakerley, Liverpool, is seeking a passionate Teacher to deliver personalised learning for pupils aged 4–11 with autism and additional needs. You’ll plan and adapt lessons to unlock each child’s potential, working with individuals and small groups.

Qualifications

• UK QTS or equivalent with a relevant degree.
• Ability to plan engaging learning and adapt teaching to individual pupils.
• Strong communication and collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative and personalised learning for individuals and small groups
• Adapt teaching around different abilities, learning styles and individual needs
• Monitor and assess progress, shaping next steps for each pupil
• Develop and review Individual Education Plans, behaviour plans and personalised support strategies
• Create a safe, structured and stimulating learning environment where pupils can engage and succeed
• Coordinate teaching, assessment and reporting across subjects or key stages
• Work with colleagues and care staff to provide consistent support
• Contribute to school development and develop your professional practice
