Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated General Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Eccles, supporting pupils on a primary-level curriculum within an SEND context. The role requires QTS or relevant teaching experience, experience with SEND, and the ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs.

You will build positive relationships and create a supportive, engaging classroom environment, with a patient, nurturing approach to helping every pupil make progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience.
• Experience working with pupils with special educational needs (SEND).
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships and create an engaging classroom environment.
• Patient, nurturing, and committed to helping every pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons to pupils within a secondary setting.
• Provide SEND support and adapt teaching strategies for a primary-level curriculum where appropriate.
• Build inclusive classroom environments that foster progress and participation.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide timely feedback to pupils and staff.
