This specialist school in Godalming is looking for a dedicated Special Needs Learning Support Assistant (SEN LSA) to support children aged 4-17 with severe learning difficulties.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience, network with professionals, and develop your skills within a rewarding environment. Career progression options include becoming a Special Needs Teacher, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or pursuing routes in Child or Educational Psychology.
Many children with special educational needs face challenges such as marginalisation, trauma, family issues, low attainment, and stigmatisation, which can hinder their life outcomes. As a SEN LSA, you will play a key role in providing consistency, support, and tools to help these children feel safe, empowered, and confident in their potential.
Start date: ASAP
Location: Godalming-based
Support: On-site education, training, and CPD provided
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:00pm, term-time only
Pay: £80-£100 per day
Requirements: Must have the right to work in the UK; no Visa sponsorship; ability to travel to Godalming and surrounding areas
