Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition in Hounslow. The position is temporary and part-time with flexible hours (morning, noon or evening) and pays £25–£30 per hour.

You will support learners with SEN, including Autism and ADHD, design personalised lesson plans, and liaise with parents and professionals to ensure coordinated support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational or therapeutic setting.
• Experience teaching or supporting Functional Skills and/or core subjects (Maths or English).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check either held or willing to undertake.

SEN Tutor:

Desired

• SEN Qualification, ABA experience, or training in Autism/ Social Communication strategies.
• PGCE or QTS.
• Previous experience working with students in an alternative provision or outside the classroom environment.
