Job summary

Hollybank Trust in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Class Teacher to join the Outstanding School on a full-time, term-time basis.

The role requires qualified teacher status and at least two years of teaching experience. Hours are 35 per week during term time (Mon-Thu 8:30am-4pm, Fri 8:30am-3:30pm); part-time negotiations are welcome. The school supports children with profound and multiple disabilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status required.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Experience with children with disabilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs, assess abilities and plan sessions to meet learning levels.
• Deliver a personalised curriculum and support the team to do so.
• Support children to develop independence, communication and learning.
• Design and manage a varied curriculum to meet all students' needs.
• Ensure high standards of care to improve quality of life.
