Woodlands Secondary School in Luton is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our specialist team. You will deliver creative, functional lessons for learners with severe, profound and complex learning needs, supporting progress toward EHCP priorities.

You will lead and develop a team of support staff, safeguard students, and contribute to a high-quality, inclusive curriculum across our expanding site. Visits and applications are welcome.

Formación

• Commitment to raising standards and delivering a creative, relevant curriculum for learners with severe, profound and/or complex learning needs.
• Desire to learn, resilience and focus on teacher wellbeing.
• Successful teaching experience with children and young people with SEND.
• Ability to plan and adapt teaching to meet EHCP priorities and progress.
• Strong and empathetic team leadership to develop support staff.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and adapt teaching and learning to students with SLD/complex needs.
• Support and develop a team of teaching and support staff to enable effective learning.
• Safeguard students and promote their wider development.
