Job description

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? A passionate SEN TA is needed at a prestigious independent school in an affluent area of North London to start in September.

This is a fantastic chance to join an outstanding school and genuinely impact the learning and development of three children. The successful candidate will work, across 2 classes in year 1 with one child with ASD, another with GDD and one with EAL.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEN TA with a background in working with children with special needs. They should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of the children.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent, and experience of working with children with additional needs. They will have a thorough understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and be able to work effectively within a team.

The SEN TA will support the children, in and out of the classroom, and help them achieve their full potential. They will be expected to assist the class teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons and providing one-on-one support to the children.

The successful candidate must be flexible, organized and patient, and able to work with children of all ages and abilities. They must also use their initiative and be comfortable working in a busy environment.
