Job summary

Teaching Personnel Norwich is seeking a Specialist SEN Teacher to join our growing Norwich SEN team. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to a range of learning needs, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

The role requires experience with SEN, strong communication, creativity and a passion for helping learners reach their potential. Occasional travel between schools may be required, and we offer flexible, ongoing professional

Qualifications

  • Qualified to teach with ECTs/NQTs or as an experienced teacher.
  • Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or strong desire to develop in SEN education.
  • Creative, adaptable and passionate about delivering engaging lessons for learners of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, patience and empathy.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for travel between schools.

As a Specialist SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons tailored to a range of learning needs.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to support students with diverse SEN requirements and learning styles.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to student development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behavioural outcomes through consistent support and guidance.
