Job summary

Inspire EHC is seeking experienced or aspiring SEN Teachers to join a network of partner schools across Norfolk. Roles available for September 2026 and beyond, with opportunities to work in inclusive classrooms serving learners aged 4–16.

A dedicated education consultant will support you throughout the process, with weekly PAYE pay and access to free CPD training. Roles involve leading differentiated lessons tailored to learners with SEN/SEMH, small-group instruction, and collaboration with

Qualifications

  • QTS or QTLS (applications from ECTs warmly welcomed).
  • Interest in SEN/SEMH education; prior experience preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to adapt lessons for learners with autism, dyslexia, anxiety, ADHD, or complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons for students with SEN/SEM H
  • Teach small groups (up to 10 pupils), with support of three classroom staff
  • Adapt teaching to EHCPs, learning styles, and needs
  • Mentor and guide support staff (TAs and HLTA) within the classroom
  • Collaborate with therapists, pastoral leads, and senior leaders to support progress
  • Promote positive behaviour, safeguarding and equality in every session
  • Track and report on academic achievement and social-emotional development

Hours: 35 - 40 hours per week

Salary: £195 - £280/day (PAYE) or MPS + SEN allowance

Contract Type: Temp to Perm & Permanent

As an SEN Teacher, you will lead inclusive, creative, and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of learners aged 4 - 11 or 11 - 16. Whether you have a background in mainstream or specialist settings, we welcome your experience and passion for inclusive education.

What You’ll Need:
  • QTS or QTLS (applications from ECTs warmly welcomed)
  • A keen interest in SEN/SEMH education - prior experience preferred but not essential
  • Confidence in adapting lesson content for learners with autism, dyslexia, anxiety, ADHD, or complex needs
  • A flexible, resilient, and nurturing teaching style
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (many schools are in rural areas)
