Job summary

Piper’s Vale Primary Academy, part of Paradigm Trust, is recruiting a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to join us as soon as possible.

The SENCo will manage all SEN provision for pupils with SEND, reporting to the Principal, and drive an inclusive learning environment. Applicants should have SENCO experience and a passion for supporting diverse learners.

Qualifications

The position

As described in the job description and person specification, you will be responsible for the management of all additional support given to pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities within the academy. This will be a demanding, varied and highly challenging role that will provide an excellent career opportunity for an exceptional individual. You will report directly to the Principal.

You will have experience working as a SENCO. This will be a challenging role so you will need the drive and ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and a passion for SEN, and understand issues affecting pupils with additional needs and how to support them.
