Exceed Academies Trust in Bradford seeks a senior leader to drive SEND and inclusive practice across the primary phase, ensuring learners with SEND are supported, challenged and empowered to reach their full potential.
The post involves partnering with staff, families and external agencies, monitoring progress, developing inclusive teaching, leading support staff and upholding safeguarding and child protection standards.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for SEND and inclusive practice across the primary phase, ensuring that all learners, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), are supported, challenged and empowered to achieve their full potential. They will work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to secure high-quality provision, effective intervention and positive outcomes for learners, while monitoring progress, developing inclusive teaching and learning practices, and supporting staff to meet the needs of SEND learners. Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher for SEN and Learning Support, the Secondary SENCo and the Senior Leadership Team, they will contribute to a cohesive whole-school approach to SEND, inclusion and intervention, lead and manage support staff, and uphold the Academy's safeguarding and child protection responsibilities at all times.
