Job summary

Wellesley Park Primary School is seeking a passionate SENDCo to join our inclusive team. You will lead provision for pupils with SEND, work closely with senior leaders and families, and liaise with external agencies to ensure every child gets the support they need to thrive.

The role is part-time (0.6 FTE) and based at Wellesley Park Primary School, with a commitment to safeguarding and high expectations for all pupils.

Qualifications

  • Qualified SENDCo or willingness to undertake the qualification.
  • Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current SEND legislation.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing and removing barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead provision for pupils with SEND across the school.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, teachers, support staff and families.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to secure appropriate support.
