Job summary

Kirklees Council’s Ravenshall School is seeking an Educational Teaching Assistant (Grade 7) to join our team. This full-time role runs 8:30am–3:15pm, Monday to Friday, during term time plus 5 inset days.

You will support pupils aged 4–19 with complex needs, contributing to a personalised, engaging curriculum and strong positive behaviour strategies. We value CPD, collaboration, and innovative practice, with a commitment to raising standards and placing pupils at the heart of our work.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of engagement strategies to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Work across all Key Stages – including Post 16.
• Support pupils with learning difficulties and complex needs.
• Contribute to CPD and join a forward-facing school team.
• Deliver high-quality learning activities within Positive Behaviour Support.
