Easterseals NH is hiring Paraprofessionals to join our school-based team. You will work alongside a Special Education teacher to provide direct support to students with intellectual and developmental challenges in a small classroom setting.

This is active, hands-on work requiring compassion, reliability, and the ability to assist with daily living activities, communication development, and academic tasks. Hours align with school schedules, 40 hours weekly, year round.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Two years of practical experience working with children preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum age 21.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and daily classroom routines.
• Develop communication skills and support student growth.
• Support regulation and safe classroom behavior.
• Help practice academic tasks with small groups.
