Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to back a Business Unit from the Operations team. You will deliver accurate client documentation, load data into systems, and perform due diligence on new clients and third parties within the Client Excellence Model and regulatory framework.

The role focuses on service delivery, problem solving, and maintaining confidentiality while supporting revenue tracking and cross-team collaboration.

  • Experience/understanding of the insurance industry and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand, apply and explain BU policies and procedures.
  • Deliver timely and accurate end-to-end client documentation within FCA and contract certainty requirements.
  • Load data into WTW systems accurately and promptly.
  • Undertake due diligence of new clients, markets and third parties.
  • Review and resolve technical questions from clients and colleagues to protect client interests.
  • Support BU in tracking and processing revenue as required.
  • Coordinate with Xchanging, bureau submission and Facilities teams on queries.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and markets to maximise service delivery.
  • Complete mandatory training and CPD commitments.
  • Perform quality checks on all documentation while maintaining confidentiality.

Special Contingency Risks - Operations Support Specialist
This role is responsible for supporting a Business Unit from within the Operations team. Working closely with a fast-paced team, providing accurate, effective operational and problem-solving support, within the WTW Client Excellence Model (CEM)

The Role

Operational and Service Delivery

  • Understand, apply and where necessary explain the business unit policies and procedures.
  • Deliver timely and accurate end to end client documentation, within the Client Excellence Model (CEM) framework, FCA and contract certainty requirements
  • Loading of data into the relevant WTW systems, in an accurate and timely manner
  • Undertake and verify due diligence of new clients, markets and third parties
  • Review, monitor and provide resolution to technical questions from clients, markets, A&S, claims, compliance and business unit colleagues, to ensure that the client’s best interests are maintained
  • Support the BU in accurate tracking and processing of revenue, as required
  • Assist and liaise with Xchanging, the bureau submission and Facilities teams on submission queries
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, markets and others where appropriate to maximise service delivery levels
  • Undertake all mandatory training within the deadline set
  • Undertake annually required level of Continuous Professional Development
  • Perform quality checks on all documentation
  • Always maintain confidentiality of information and manage data in line with WTW guidelines
  • Any other duties as requested
