Job summary

Hyve Solutions in the UK seeks an experienced supervisor to lead the Spares team, coordinate assignments, and ensure safety and service targets are met. You will liaise with production and planning to resolve order issues and report daily performance against objectives.

You will also support new processes, manage stock levels, and contribute to continuous improvements while aligning with QMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Spares team, assigns tasks according to priorities.
• Ensures Health and Safety requirements are adhered to by audit and review.
• Monitors activities within area of remit to ensure that efficiency and service level agreements are met.
• Takes immediate appropriate action to rectify any shortfalls in levels of service. Seeks supervisory support as issues arise. Liaising with production/planning teams to resolve issues with orders.
• Provides reports/data on daily performance achievements against targets, as required.
• Supports new processes with supervision.
• Carry out inventory functions as required.
• Presents daily team brief at the start of each shift.
• Has the ability to perform all associated tasks within own area of responsibility. Supporting training of newer associates.
• Monitors the work area to ensure that all safety standards are upheld.
• Ensures materials are counted and in stock to meet company requirements.
• Carry out any reasonable request by the management team.
• Supports supervisor with operations in defining, documenting, and implementing processes to ensure compliance with the QMS, ISO 9001 and 14001 frameworks.
• Contributes to continuous improvements.
