Job summary

Advancing People Multilingual Recruitment Specialists are seeking a Spanish-speaking Desktop Support Engineer for an on-site role in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. You will provide hands-on IT support within a corporate environment, handling incidents, service requests and user queries while collaborating with Service Desk and IT teams.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, have strong customer service and troubleshooting skills, and be proficient with Microsoft 365 and Windows.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish with excellent communication skills.
• Experience diagnosing, prioritising and resolving IT incidents, aiming for first‑time resolution.
• Strong customer‑service focus and professional communication.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) and Windows OS.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems and IT hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support, resolving incidents, service requests and user queries.
• Act as the first point of contact for users requiring hands-on technical assistance.
• Install, configure, replace and maintain computers, peripherals and workplace equipment.
• Provide support for laptops, desktops, docking stations, printers and other IT equipment.
• Support meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, audiovisual equipment and collaboration technology.
• Record and maintain accurate information on incidents and requests using the ITSM system.
• Carry out regular checks of meeting rooms and audiovisual equipment.
