Job summary

Morson are recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace and defence client based in Oxford. The Electrical Test Technician role is a 12 month contract with potential for long-term extension.

You will execute electrical and functional tests on test benches and spacecraft, using CCS, EGSE and SCOE to support activities. Candidates will work across early/late shifts, night shifts, or a 4-on/4-off pattern, with corresponding pay rates.

Qualifications

• Electrical integration of equipment on a test bench or spacecraft.
• Experience using a wide range of electrical test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, signal generator, etc.).
• DDMS experience or exposure would be beneficial.
• Familiar with spacecraft subsystems and test environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical and functional test procedures on engineering benches and flight spacecraft.
• Use CCS/EGSE/SCOE to support test activities.
• Maintain test documentation and update procedures.
• Support development and debugging of automated test sequences.
• Contribute to calibration and test campaign logistics.
• Assist in design/manufacture of electrical test aids and drawings.
