Job summary

Capgemini Engineering's Space Systems Quality organization seeks an experienced Product Assurance Manager to lead PA activities for a major space programme. You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and the customer to ensure effective planning, execution and delivery of quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes ECSS compliance, strong electrical/electronic system knowledge, and a proactive, prevention-led quality culture.

Qualifications

4–6 years of Product Assurance / Quality Engineering in space environments.
Strong knowledge of ECSS/ESA standards and quality frameworks.
Solid understanding of electrical/electronic systems and related engineering teams.
Excellent coaching and stakeholder engagement; able to influence across teams.
Experience with non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and 8D/problem solving.

Responsibilities

Act as the Product Assurance lead within the project team, owning PA activities across electronics suppliers.
Ensure compliance with ECSS and customer requirements; advise on non-conformances.
Lead non-conformance management, including root cause analysis and action reviews.
Drive quality performance through KPI analysis, continuous improvement, and right-first-time principles.
Manage quality processes such as quality gates, audits, and process adherence.
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers as the PA authority.
