Job summary

MRL Consulting Group | Global Niche Technology Recruitment seeks a Lead ASIC Development Engineer to drive next-generation mixed-signal ASICs for space environments. This senior, hands-on leadership role combines technical authority with team mentorship and program ownership.

You will translate architectural intent into executable plans, lead cross-functional design and verification, and ensure quality, schedule, and cost targets are met while advancing radiation-hardening techniques for space

Qualifications

• 20+ years in mixed-signal ASIC development.
• Proven track record delivering large ASIC/SoC programs to productization.
• Hands-on RTL design and digital IP integration.
• Verification and validation methodologies.
• Hardware emulation and DFT.
• Physical implementation and tape-out flows.
• Modern EDA toolchains.
• Mixed-signal subsystems: high-speed ADC/DAC, PLLs, SERDES.
• Radiation-hardening techniques for space apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of mixed-signal ASICs.
• Drive IP development, SoC integration, verification and productization.
• Ensure on-schedule, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
• Oversee RTL design, digital IP integration and verification.
• Lead hardware emulation, DFT and physical design activities.
• Validate high-speed mixed-signal blocks (ADC/DAC, PLL, SERDES).
• Apply radiation-hardening techniques for space.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-functional collaboration.
