Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer in Manchester to drive the development of advanced electronics for FPGA and ASIC-based space systems. You will own the hardware lifecycle from specification to qualification, coordinating multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires senior leadership experience in electronic hardware, with strong SerDes, HDI PCB design, and FPGA/ASIC expertise.

Formación

• Extensive experience in electronic hardware design.
• Background in space/defense or safety-critical industries.
• Strong FPGA/ASIC-based systems and SerDes experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex electronic hardware development and manufacturing activities.
• Design high-speed digital circuits featuring FPGA, ASIC and SerDes technologies.
• Direct the design of multilayer and HDI PCBs.
• Support hardware, software and systems integration, validation and qualification.
• Coordinate internal engineers and external manufacturing partners.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring across teams.
