Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL seeks an experienced FPGA Development Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in Farnborough. You will own FPGA solutions across the full lifecycle—from requirements to production—collaborating with hardware, firmware, and systems engineers in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong VHDL-based design and verification, plus experience with test benches and hardware integration. UK SC clearance may be required; four days onsite at Farnborough.

Qualifications

• Proven experience taking FPGA designs through the full development lifecycle.
• Strong FPGA design and verification experience using VHDL.
• Experience developing test benches and carrying out design verification.
• Familiarity with configuration-management systems for HDL source code.

Responsibilities

• Own FPGA solution delivery from requirements capture through production.
• Lead requirements elicitation and translate needs into FPGA requirements.
• Define FPGA architectures in collaboration with the team.
• Design, implement and verify FPGA solutions using VHDL.
• Coordinate FPGA design activity and provide guidance to other engineers.
