Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, invites applications for a Manufacturing Technician to join a growing Lithium‑ion space battery business. You will contribute to batteries used in missions for satellites, launch vehicles and interplanetary spacecraft, reading technical drawings and following build documentation to support manufacturing.

This role emphasizes hands-on assembly, adherence to safety and quality processes, and training across departments.

Qualifications

• Understand manufacturing process.
• Engineering subject preferred.
• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Health & safety responsibilities within area of responsibility.
• Adhere to risk assessments and COSHH requirements.
• Read, understand and follow build documentation and technical drawings.
• Carry out manufacturing mechanical tasks including spot welding, pull testing and assembly.
• Complete all manufacturing documentation during the production process.
