ALTEN LTD - UK is seeking a Junior Electrical and Mechanical AIT Engineer to support spacecraft and satellite integration activities. You will bring a solid background in Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) across electrical and mechanical disciplines, working within multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex space programmes. Location: Guilford.

Qualifications

• Experience in a spacecraft or satellite AIT environment is essential.
• Strong electrical integration and test background with mechanical integration support.
• Hands-on experience on complex aerospace or space systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform spacecraft and satellite assembly, integration and test activities.
• Execute electrical integration tasks including harness installation and electrical testing.
• Support mechanical integration activities such as subsystem installation and alignment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration of spacecraft systems.
• Conduct test procedures, analyse results and support anomaly investigations.
• Ensure all integration and testing activities comply with quality and safety requirements.
• Maintain documentation and reporting throughout the AIT lifecycle.
