Bamford Wellness Spa on Daylesford Farm seeks an enthusiastic Spa & Retail Receptionist. You will greet clients, manage bookings, and uphold the high Bamford service standards in a luxury wellness setting.

The role is primarily Front of House, with occasional support for therapists in delivering treatments if qualified. Available as full-time or part-time, with weekend work. Competitive salary plus commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury retail or Spa environments is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Brand ambassador for Bamford products and philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and ensure 5* service in the wellness space.
• Manage client bookings using the online system and coordinate with Therapists.
• Maintain high standards in the spa, retail and F&B areas.
• Complete treatment questionnaires fully.
• Support Spa Management with ad-hoc duties.
• Assist with Spa events and guest hosting.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the spa.
• Contribute to social and environmental improvements aligned with Bamford's sustainability agenda.

About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Spa & Retail Receptionist to join us at the Bamford Wellness Spa on the Daylesford Farm.

This role is primarily Front of House, with the opportunity to support the therapists team by delivering treatments on an ad hoc basis, if you are qualified.

You will greet our lovely clients and ensure they receive a 5* star service whilst in the wellness space and live and breathe the Bamford philosophy to the highest professional standard.

This role can be offered full time and part time! And will include weekend work.

The full time salary will be £27,268 per annum plus commission. For part time roles the salary will be prorated.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional familiarity with all retail products and treatments, classes and recommend and maximise sales to all clients.
• Manage all client bookings, using our online system, whilst liaising with the Therapist team on their schedules to increase appointment occupancy.
• You will be responsible for the maintain of standards in the spa, retail and food and beverage area.
• Ensure all treatment questionnaires are fully completed.
• Support the Spa Management Team with any other ad-hoc duties.
• Support with Spa event set up and host guests/clients.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the spa.
• Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision.
• Inspire and empower our customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world.

Skills You Will Bring

• Experience within luxury retail or a Spa environment would be an advantage.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to provide an exceptional guest experience.
• A brand champion who believes wholeheartedly on the importance of the Bamford brand and products.
• Attention to detail for accurate stock management and inventory control.
• Strong organisational and time management skills for handling bookings and sales targets.
• Ability to handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, with a solution-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Natural multi-tasker with a can-do, flexible attitude & positive energy.
• Excellent communication skills are key to this role.
• Your professionalism and attitude will reflect the brand.
