Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager for the Strategic Pipeline Alliance in north Lincolnshire.

The role focuses on translating strategy into outcomes, delivering enabling and delivery phases, and ensuring on-budget, on-time project delivery with strong H&S leadership. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams on large water infrastructure projects, manage design-and-build delivery, and report progress with clear communication and governance.

Job Overview

Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as a Project Manager, based at north Lincolnshire. Location: Site-based from SPA offices, north Lincolnshire Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK’s most ambitious water infrastructure projects?

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for translating Programme level strategy into actual outcomes and Team members are informed of requirements for project. Ensure the project team resources are fully utilised, and their performance and output is in line with company performance metrics, dealing with performance issues where they may arise.
• Responsible for the delivery of Enabling phase of the project and elements in delivery phase of project ensuring that these projects are kept ‘on track’ by own team to agreed cost, time and quality parameters and any arising issues mitigated appropriately.
• Responsible for full project lifecycle from Enabling, construction, project handover, formal sign off and managing any warranty issue that arise post-handover.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety (H&S), ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.

A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours:

• A degree in in Civil / MEICA / Construction Management or relevant subject
• Experience in leading and delivering large-scale projects of work, including water infrastructure or large-scale linear projects
• Experience leading multi-contractor, multi-disciplined teams, unifying them into an industry leading delivery team.
• Experience of delivering design and build, large construction projects
• The ability to perform against a tight budget through effective programme development, risk and opportunity management
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
