Job summary

Volta is seeking a SOX and Internal Controls professional to join our London team. You will support design and testing of allocated processes, coordinate with process owners and senior leaders, and collaborate with ITGC teams to ensure a robust control environment.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and willingness to travel. You will help prepare updates for the SOX SteerCo and Audit Committee and train/control owners on SOX requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience working on SOX programmes.
• Big 4 experience preferable.
• Strong knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
• Proficiency with process mapping tools (MS Visio, GRC tools).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Collaborative, team player with flexible attitude.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience communicating across multiple departments.
• Open to international travel.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and testing work for allocated processes.
• Prepare for close meetings with process owners and senior leaders.
• Liaise with the ITGC SOX team to understand the control landscape.
• Perform internal, s302 and s404 testing ensuring timely completion.
• Document design and testing results in process maps, RACMs and testing templates.
• Keep process maps and RACMs up to date with effective change management.
• Prepare SOX SteerCo and Audit Committee updates.
• Provide training and guidance on SOX requirements and controls.
• Maintain remediation logs and records.
