Job summary

Volta is seeking a Senior SOX/Internal Controls professional to support process design and testing across allocated processes. You will collaborate with process owners, the ITGC team, and senior stakeholders to ensure robust controls and timely remediation.

You will prepare SOX updates for Steering Committees, train control owners, and maintain design/testing logs. International travel is a possibility as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience on SOX programmes.
• Big 4 experience preferable.
• Strong knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
• Proficiency with process-mapping tools (MS Visio, GRC).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.
• Willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager SOX and Internal Controls on process design and testing activities.
• Prepare for close meetings with process owners and senior leaders and agree gaps/remediations.
• Liaise with the ITGC SOX team to understand the control landscape (SODs, IUCs, Joiners/Leavers).
• Perform internal, s302 and s404 testing ensuring timely completion.
• Document design and testing results in RACMs and templates.
• Keep logs up to date and provide SOX updates to SteerCo and Audit Committee.
