Job summary

Astrum Search Ltd. is assisting a major international organisation to appoint a Group Internal Controls Manager to join the Group Finance/Governance function. This high-profile role focuses on strengthening a global controls environment with strong SOX/ICFR experience and collaboration across finance, audit and business teams.

The role is Surrey-based with 3 days per week on site and limited international travel, offering substantial international exposure within a complex multinational business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SOX/ICFR experience is required.
• Background in Internal Controls, risk assurance or internal audit.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and control frameworks.
• Experience working with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and embed a SOX-style internal controls framework.
• Support risk assessments, RACMs and control testing.
• Partner with finance, audit and business stakeholders globally.
• Review deficiencies and drive remediation activity.
• Support governance, compliance and audit reporting.
