Job summary

Lorien in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a 6-month contract on the SOX Control Framework Enhancement Programme. The role involves driving delivery across Finance, Risk, Audit and Technology to strengthen internal controls.

You will lead governance, planning, budgeting and reporting, manage multiple workstreams, and engage senior stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and successful handover.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex projects within regulated environments.
• Experience leading projects in Financial Services or similarly regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with SOX controls and regulatory change programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the SOX Control Framework Enhancement programme from initiation through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, governance frameworks, resource plans, and reporting packs.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and budget performance.
• Engage effectively with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Audit, Technology, and Operations.
