Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the definition and governance of requirements for complex surveillance systems across marine and land border security. You will translate operational and regulatory needs into structured requirements guiding design, verification, and delivery.

Hybrid role based in the Bristol area with WFH flexibility, collaborating with Product Management and engineering teams to ensure traceability, testability, and alignment with the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in systems engineering, requirements engineering, and architecture.
• Strong ability to write and manage complex technical requirements for large-scale systems.
• Experience on surveillance, defence, or mission-critical operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end requirements architecture for marine and land border surveillance solutions.
• Capture and structure operational, technical, regulatory, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate mission needs into clear, measurable system requirements and verification criteria.
• Maintain traceability across the engineering lifecycle and artefacts.
