Job summary

B&M Retail is seeking a field-based Profit Protection Manager to cover the South West region, including Bristol, Devon and Cornwall. You will lead loss prevention initiatives, analyse data, and coordinate investigations to protect store profitability.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in data-driven shrinkage reduction and training store teams on best-practice loss prevention. A company car, laptop and phone are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Profit Protection/Loss Prevention with tangible results.
• Experience analysing data to reduce stock loss.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data to maximise profitability.
• Monitor area loss reports with stores.
• Identify risks within stores and review processes.
• Investigate cash losses and loss-causing activity.
• Prepare for investigations into serious breaches.
• Coordinate between profit protection and retail operations.
• Deliver training sessions to store management teams.
• Demonstrate proven results from profit protection initiatives.
• Utilise MS Office and store systems to investigate anomalies.
• Maintain flexible availability across Southwest stores.
