Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• GCSE / Functional skills level 2 in Maths.
• 2 years+ experience in Nursery management.
• Previous nursery leadership or management experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering outstanding childcare.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• IT skills to use Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Famly experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursery team.
• Ensure children receive the highest quality care and education.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
• Drive occupancy and support nursery growth.
• Maintain compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and health & safety requirements.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
