Job summary

Willing Recruitment is representing Paint Pots Pre-School and Nursery @ Sholing in Southampton, seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming Early Years setting. You will guide staff, uphold high standards of care and education, and foster a warm, home-from-home environment where children can explore, learn through play and build confidence.

The role requires a full Level 3 Early Years qualification, prior Nursery Manager experience, strong EYFS knowledge, safeguarding expertise,

Qualifications

• Must hold a full Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification and have proven Nursery Manager experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and safeguarding.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop an Early Years team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Lead and support the Early Years team, encouraging professional development.
• Ensure learning experiences align with the EYFS and promote play-based activities.
