Job summary

Company Shop Group is seeking a Regional Manager for the South, covering multiple locations across the region. You will lead, coach and develop Store Managers to deliver a high-performing retail experience with strong commercial results.

You will translate the Retail strategy into clear regional plans, drive KPIs and ensure operational excellence while maintaining compliance and safety standards. Travel across locations is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in regional or multi-site retail leadership.
• Strong commercial understanding with KPI targets.
• Experience coaching and developing Store Managers and leadership teams.
• Ability to hold people accountable while providing support to achieve results.
• Strong operational, compliance and health & safety awareness.
• Experience leading change and embedding standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strategic and analytical thinker able to motivate large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop People: Coach Store Managers and build leadership capability with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive Commercial Performance: Own regional KPIs including sales, productivity, payroll, waste and audit performance.
• Deliver Operational Excellence: Ensure stores operate safely, legally and consistently to standards.
• Champion Our Members: Deliver excellent member experiences using local insights.
• Lead Change & Improvement: Translate Retail strategy into regional plans and embed changes.
• Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate with central functions to support regional performance.
• Plan for the Future: Lead succession planning and workforce planning for the region.
